What motivated you to participate in the Alabamboo Bike Ride?
Last August Marc O’Brien mentioned to me that he was planning something great (aka Alabamboo) for the following summer. I immediately responded that I would be very interested, in fact I believe I made the commitment right then to the ride. However I will be honest, a large motivating factor for this ride is selfish. I have a score to settle after my last attempt to cross the country ended earlier than planned.

A team of young cyclists departed from Greensboro, AL and rode across the US on bicycles made from Alabama-grown bamboo, crafted with the help of Bamboo Bike Studio.
